Our volunteers are critical to our success
in serving the special needs community. We would like to express
our deep appreciation to all of our volunteers for their hard
work and dedication. Some of our volunteers have been with us
for over 30 years. We look to them for inspiration and support.

 Santa
Sew volunteers
- knit, crochet, and sew gift items such
as hats, laprobes, shawls, and pillows to be given to the mentally
retarded in residential facilities and the elderly in placement
during the holidays. Volunteers work out of their homes and we
supply all the materials needed.

 Administrative office
- help with bulk mailing projects, seasonal
and birthday card preparation and mailings which are done on
a monthly basis.
|
  Special events
- assistance for the many picnics, dances,
movies, and bingo activities that we hold on a monthly basis.
Help us host these events by setting up, serving treats, and
interacting with our clients. Each event has its own special
needs, and all of them are fun and rewarding.

- In home projects
- at our administrative office. We are always
in need of volunteers to help in preparing and wrapping gifts
for distribution.
|
 Craft and bingo volunteers
- assist CARH staff with craft projects
and bingo games at elder care facilities. The projects are simple
but the interaction is always appreciated.
Our volunteers are vital for the continued growth of CARH There
